About Alan

Dr. Alan Corkish is responsible for editing, typesetting and some aspects of cover-design, he is a writer, editor, reviewer and critic from Liverpool UK. Alan has a Bachelor’s degree with honours in English Literature and Philosophy from Liverpool University, a Master’s Arts degree in Writing Skills from Lancaster University a Masters Science degree in psychology from Keele University and his PhD is on C20 Working Class novels and is awarded by Edge Hill University. He currently works part-time as a psychotherapist.

Over 500 of Alan’s poems and short stories also appear in Journals and anthologies in the UK, USA, Russia, India, Canada, Italy, Ireland, Vietnam, New Zealand and Africa, many poems have been translated into Vietnamese and Italian. Alan co-edited Listening to the Birth of Crystals with Andrew Taylor and since then has edited over 320 perfect bound and chap books; he also writes literary reviews for Orbis, The Journal, Poetry Kit, Stride and New Hope International.
